Massage Therapy
Approximately 60% of our total body mass is comprised of soft tissue structures such as ligaments, tendons, and muscles. It is imperative that these structures function at their full capacity. In conjunction with any type of spinal care, massage therapy can enhance and improve the effects of any treatment.

The positive effects of massage therapy are numerous:
- Increase Circulation
- Increase Functional Range of Motion
- Increase Muscle Function
- Decrease Stress & Fatigue
- Help Relax the Mind & Body
- When Massage is Used in Conjunction With Chiropractic Your Treatments are More Effective
The Interventional Medical Group has on staff certified massage therapists to enhance and provide a complete sense of health & well being.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture restores the delicate balance within the body, which once destroyed, gives way to disease.
This holistic medical system is based on an energetic model that encourages your body's natural healing abilities. Acupuncture strengthens and improves overall function, enhances recuperative power and immunity, and enables you to regain and enjoy physical and emotional health.
What does an Acupuncturist do?
During your initial exam a full health history will be taken, with questions regarding your health, lifestyle, and any other information necessary for diagnosis, along with an appropriate physical exam. This information is then organized in order to diagnose your specific concerns and any underlying factors that may affect your health.
An Acupuncturist will then place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints along your meridian pathways. The safe and painless insertion of needles unblocks the obstruction of your meridians. Releasing this blockage allows the body's energy to freely circulate, eliminating pain and restoring the body's ability to heal itself.
